Researchers found a lack of a good night’s sleep may resulting in people pigging out on more calories the following day. A systematic review and analysis, led by researchers at King’s College London, combined the results of several previous small studies to produce a more robust answer.The results showed that sleep-deprived people consumed an average of 385 calories per day extra, which is equivalent to the calories in about four and a half slices of bread.
